Council agendas and minutes
Council meets on the first monday of the month. This page is the whole reason the concept exists: one route to every year, and no year that quietly leads nowhere.
By year
Each row shows what a resident actually gets when they click today, measured on 29 July 2026. In a live build every one of these would be green, and keeping it that way would not depend on anyone remembering.

Documents are not reproduced here. A concept has no business restating what a council decided — only making the decision findable.
What would change, in plain terms
- Point the old links at your own server. The 49 stranded documents are a find-and-replace across the pages, not a rebuild. This alone restores 2019 to 2023.
- Upload once, appear everywhere. A document added to a year appears on that year’s page and in the recent list, dated automatically. No page editing, so nothing to forget.
- Say when minutes are still to come. An agenda without minutes reads as an omission. Labelled, it reads as a normal part of the cycle.
- Make it work on a phone. Most people looking for a council decision are not at a desk.
The District’s own site is newhazelton.ca, and the 2024–2026 record on it is complete and current. That is the part worth saying out loud: the office is doing the work. The archive is just pointing at an address that no longer answers.
